Please tell me you don't have to get a windage tray with an oilpan gasket for a 2000 4.7. I can't find just a gasket.

If that's true it's more evidence Mopar hires more engineers from CrackerJacks University than any of the big 3

Do you have the Pan off yet? You will more than likely bend up the Gasket/windage tray upon removal.

Had a new oilpan put on in Jan. and the arss didn't use the gasket. The new pan came with the windage tray. Compared to $60 i'll take the pan off and put 6 tubes of RTV *&^%(**)(

I realy think they have a contest to see who can come up with the most complicated design possable.
