1965 tinted windshields vs non tinted

Is there a rule of thumb when it comes to tinted windshields for 1965 dodge or plymouth 2dr sedan post's ?? I have both types.....was tinted just a option, or was it standard on certain models ? My coronet needs a new windshield and which one would be right if the car was black ??

Wasn't standard, though it was generally part of the package when a/c was picked.

Pretty cool car you are building, I am partial to tinted windshields myself but I guess it is your preference.
