A body leaf spring options - 08/28/10 09:57 PM
currently wading through all the leaf springs out there now for 76 duster.
my worn spring/air shock combo has to go.
i have 275/60's on 10" wheel tucked in now but i need 2 or 3" above stock ride height to retain this tire/wheel.
any recomendations on a set to just bolt on and go?? driver with occassional track visits.

Call ESPO and see what they have available.

If you want the rear end jacked up for drag racing then the super stock springs are the way to go.

doesnt need to be way up...just a few inches to clear the tire.

I used the SS springs from Mancini on my 68 Barracuda and it has a nice aggressive stance without being too high. I'm using a 29" tire though...

Here's a picture right after I put them in (I left the air shocks in for the time being -- they are inflated a little below halfway).

May or may not bolt in, depends on which front hanger you have. A body cars came with three different bolt sizes in the front hanger. Super stock springs need the big 5/8 bolt. Order the hangers from Mancini Racing and you can get matching spring hangers at the same time. In fact, I think that Mancini has a whole package deal with new hardware, u-bolts, etc.
