Trans help needed!

Have an early 904 trans going to a '72 /6 - problem is new converter hub measures about 1.55" and crank end is 1.81". Can't use a later converter because spline count is different. Any thoughts? Thanks!

There are reducer rings available, can't remember who offers them; or have one made locally.

www.wildcatauto.com the last one I purchased from them was $20 to my door.
