? Best way to Intsall Window Stainless steel trim ?

Hi I'm looking for info on how to install the stainless steel trim around the front & rear Windows . I have all the right clips & rubbers . Should i install the clips with screws first , then install the rubber & glass. Or drill the holes for the clips after the window is in place ??????????????

I'm doing this on my 69 Charger right now. If you have already cleaned out the window channels and painted them, then add the clips and screws. Next install the seals and glass with care. If you had to add a new roof skin like me, then drill any holes you may need before you install the glass.

I need to know from someone , what color clip goes above the front window drip rail & what color for the sides & bottom . The clips are green & redish brown . I don't have any books or a good glass guy to tell me . Stainless trim came off a 76 adventuer se .
