Which auto parts store carries Chrysler blue eng paint - 08/21/10 02:50 PM
Do any of the local auto parts stores carry something close to a chrysler blue engine color in a spray can? I am repainting an engine from a '71 D100 and was wanting to find something close to original if possible. I was wanting to find something local and not have to order if possible.

i got mine at schucks o reilly..plasticote and it works great dan

Sure looks like Mopar blue to me....

like mentioned, try to find someone down there that carries Plasticoat. Still the best spray can paint in my opinion. I do most all of my engines in PPG single stage Urethane, but if I have someone that doesnt want to go to that expense, the Plasticoat works very well.

AutoZone carries the Chrysler blue in the Duplicolor brand. It is a great paint.
