remember reading a thread from the FAST guys, they cut their repro acid batterys from the bottom and install a newer mini battery from the underneath.

saves weight, looks original and very reliable.

looking for details on how to build my own

i had already gutted my battery... i made the mistake of taking out the +- post terminals.

Tomorrow i will head over to auto parts store and try to purchase some kind of terminal for the battery cables.
