It's bad to be around anything remotely connected to something electrical during a lightning storm.

I was welding a pipline in Tx during a storm once, lighteneing struck about 1/4 mile away. Had to throw my underwear away. Nothing is so important that it has to be done during a storm.

Is this one of those "Ask me how I know" questions?

Fl is the lightning capital of the world

I do nothing and turn everything off during a thunder storm

never played golf either, walk around a big open feild..with a lightning rod..trying to knock a little ball in a little cup

does not have to be a thunder storm or a rainy day here

it comes out of a nice clear blue sky sometimes

put what you want welded out side in the storm and hook a ground wire to it..go back in the house and wait

When golfing in a storm always carry a one iron in your bag. Even god can't hit a one iron.
