'69' GTX UPPER CONTROL ARM??? - 06/28/10 10:17 PM

Does anyone know where I can get a drivers-side upper control arm at a reasonable price??? The ball joint stripped through on my existing one,according to the repair shop! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Randy Borawski

Can't you just go to a local wrecking yard and get one off any 62-72 B body car? Same thing as used on the 70-74 E body cars too.
Check on e Bay. Lots of vendors are now selling reproduction ones. Probably from China though.

If the ball joint is good, can't you just tack weld it in.
Then you can spend as long as you like looking for a replacement.

rrunner,how much for the control arms? $13.00 shipping isn't so bad! I'd rather not have it tack-welded,I do race the car. Thanks! RandyB

I had a pair on here then ebay for a month and couldn't sell them... usually I sell them right away and even dropped the price.
