Henessey Viper Cuda Dilemma???

Henessey Viper Cuda Dilemma??? - 06/26/10 01:41 AM

I'm building a 1970 Cuda shell with a complete 3rd generation Hennessey Viper underneath. Everything was going smoothly until we tried to find a tire/wheel combination that would fit under the fenders.

Can you offer any advice on possible A arm changes or something like that? We could always flare the fenders but I think that would ruin the car.

Me and the people I'm working with are stumped and I'm hoping you can offer some advice.

Thanks!

You're going to have a tough time. I believe the Viper is wider than the Cuda. If that's the case, nothing short of moving the sheet metal is going to fix the problem.

You could run wheels that look like the fronts on a dually pick up.

Pretty sure you will need custom wheels, or narrow the front and rear track width.
