adjusting doors

I'm have problem adjusting the doors on my 69 charger. It seems like my strikers are all the way in, but the door do not seem to catch all the way in??? the doors catch, but stay open anout 1/4 to 1/2 inch. help???

Is it possible that they are too far in and when you close the door it bounces back when it hits the door seal? Just a thought!

Daniel, try moving your catch OUT in the door jamb, the latch on the door has two positions, if you have the catch in too far it may only be latching on the first position.
