Anyone running be cool radiator with black hose? I have a coolflex hose on now, and want to go back to a black hose with Billet ends. The stock hose for a 440/Hemi does not work, it does not go far enough over to reach the inlet on the radiator. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have a look at the Dayco 70434 hose. I think that is the number I used for mine. It has to be trimmed to fit but it has the correct length and bends once you cut a fair portion of it off. I'll check this evening to make sure that is the right number.

Is that an interchangable number for like napa, etc? Would that hose clear under a shaker base? Thanks for the help. Let me know for sure on the number when you get a chance

Mine does not have a shaker so can't say for sure it will clear but I would think that it cold be trimmed shorter at the thermostat housing to lower it to clear. I'll get the number tonight and take a picture at the same time. NAPA should be able to cross the Dayco number. Just be aware that the hose has another bend and an additional 12-14" of length so when you initially see it, it looks totally wrong but once you cut it down, it works fine.

I must have the number wrong. Overall length was probably 30-34" .

Why not take a coat hanger and bend and cut it to the shape and length you need. Then head to the parts store and find a hose that will match.

Called the company I bought it from and they were able to look up my invoice. Dayco part number is 70734. Here is a link to the hose on Dayco's site.

Do you have the 1,000hp setup, where the tank sits on the inner fender? I can get you some gates #'s tonight when I get home if so.
