Stock stroke Small blocks are slow in B-bodies?? Man... I guess I'm hosed. I suppose it depends on your definition of "fast" huh?
A converter change and I should be "knocking" on 11's this year
Gotta wait for the body shop to finish the work first though with my "heavier than a B-body" van.
That being said, I'm researching doing EFI in my van next year. Looks like Edelbrock EFI Manifold, Throttle body and injector rails (abour $900 for those), 8 x 880cc/min (83 lb/hr) injectors (not sure on $$ for those yet), dual walbro in tank 255 lph pumps (buying a new stock replacement tank to modify for this) (estimating $800-$1000 for fuel system), Accel Dual Sync DFI distributor (about $450), sensors and wiring and probably gonna try the Megasquirt 3 + MS3X for sequential EFI setup first (about $600 for that stuff). I figure between the fuel system and all other parts, she should come in around $3.5k for this setup, and be ready to support up to 1000 horsepower, far more than the current engine makes, but I like to overbuild things for future "upgradability"
