Stock tire size equivalents - 05/02/10 10:35 PM

Greetings,

Does anyone know the modern radial equivalents for stock A-body D-series 14" tires?

These are for a '73 Duster with the small bolt pattern steel 14" rims.

Thanks,

I believe the 318 cars had D70-14s, modern equivalent = 195/70/14
& the 340 cars used a E70-14 w/the "rallye suspension", modern equivalent = 205/70/14

Original sized tires look "tiny" by modern standards, I'd reccommend the 205/70/14 or a larger 215/70/14 (IMO 225/70/14 is too large on an a-body & may rub).
