Intake Manifold Porting in Denver

Intake Manifold Porting in Denver - 05/01/10 02:25 AM

I've previously asked about machine shops in Denver and I thank those of you that replied.

I've bought an Edelbrock 7144 Pro-Flo intake manifold and the intake runners are atrocious. Who in town could do a good porting job on tunnel ram style intake runners that are about 6 inches long to get them to at least match a standard port size. The runners as-is are significantly smaller than standard port size due to a large degree of curvature on the sides of the runners. Edelbrock said that they cast them that way so they'll work with all heads, but that sounds like a BS coverup for a crappy casting to me.

Thank you for the info. If I can't find anyone in my area I'll have to check folks farther away.
