Where can I buy a single wire neutral safety switch? - 04/10/10 08:03 PM
This is for a 1968 904 automatic. I've done some looking around, but all I can find are the later model 3-wire ones.
Thanks!

You could just use the center stud on the 3 stud switch as thats the ground for park and neutral. Ron

I thought you had to change something inside the tranny to use the 3 prong switch? I found a 1 prong switch at an old tranny shop. Only cost me 5 bucks to boot.

ebay, get the right one for your car. some are longer that mess with the rooster detent and make it tough to shift. like a 65-68 one in a 63 car, it needs to get shimed out a little even though it works.pushbutton is hard to push.

eBay here....Make sure it's a 1965 to '68. No earlier.
Single pins looks simliar but there are different lengths of the detent end.
I'll post a picture of the different styles...
