Wax and grease remover on vinyl top ???? - 04/10/10 04:28 PM
The guy that did the detail work on my 72 Challenger got some wax on my aftermarket vinyl. Can I use wax and grease remover to remove it? what is the best/safest thing to use?

I use a product called spray 9 and my white top is still mint after 3-4 yrs. It seems to do a great job of cleaning.

What exactly does that do,just clean??What do you put on it after that,if anything.Someone said on here that 101 or 303 what ever it is,doesnt have silicone in it.I ruined a white top with armor-al,so dont put that on a white top.You can get away with it on black. Thanks

Goop hand cleaner works excellent to clean vinyl tops. Use the original formula Goop, not the pumice or orange stuff. Since Goop is very effective at cutting wax, don't let it drip down across the paint unless you are planning on rewaxing it.

I was able to find the 303 cleaner and the 303 aerospace protector used it and it worked great thanks
