How to re-attach Chrome piping to the interior panels. - 04/09/10 10:42 PM

The Chrome piping on my 74 Satellites rear interior panel is coming off.

The factory used a heat fusing technique I believe.

I tried 3M trim & weatherstrip adhesive and it won't hold.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Rubber adhesive....or the previously mentioned glue gun is a good idea too

You can use double sided trim tape, provided you can get both surfaces clean enough. I've done this many times, and it's always worked like a champ.
