sorry for the short answer,on my part. the answer WE need is what is the car going to be? what are you wanting the car to do? more importantly,what are the plans to further performance? the worst engine is an overcammed slug. big cam,overlap,compression,ect ect,is a balanced of componets,that work together. thats why a HP440 didnt have a .509+ from the factory...but it ran strong all day,everyday. give some idea of what plans you have for the car,and we will help....for a nice street 440 i like a .480's cam,perf rpm,headers,906/mild portor ede head,10.0 comp,3.91,750/3310,2500 stall,tuned ignition/carb. i like mild for a non hassle 440 w/ enough grunt to get around those pesky civics
