Mini starter heat shield options

Last year my headers cooked my mini starter on a long trip.

I was planning on wrapping the new one with one of those heat blankets to keep it from happening again this year, but...

Any better ideas out there? I know some of the modern minis came with bolt on heat shields from the factory--anyone used these on a 440?
