Holley in-line fuel pump

Is anyone using Holley’s 480 PPH in-line universal electric fuel pump part number 12-920 with a carburetor set up? The speck sheet says this pump is for throttle body injection. Max rated fuel pressure is 15 PSI I don’t see why one couldn’t regulate the pressure down to 7- 9 PSI for use with a carburetor. Also, can this pump pull fuel from the sump if mounted above the fuel level? I am currently using a Holley blue. I need to relocate the pump to make room for 3 inch tail pipes and don’t want to have the blue pump hanging down below the rear bumper. I’m using a stock fuel tank with a sump kit.
