That site won't let you post the specific part...But anyhow are we talking 70 AC heater control valve ??? If so it is the bakelite piece and looks like this...

I really need a heater control valve for my 1973 Cuda and it looks just like the picture. Do you know where I can get one?

They pop up on E-bay all the time from 50-150 so watch out for the good deals...The brackets are repoped also...Another source that sells them is Classic auto air...

The one in my pic is the correct piece..The all metal pieces are the aftermarket replacement units..Actually the bakelite unit was used for a broad range of cars and trucks and the ones out there are actually NOS mopar replacements that are still floating around...the mopar replacement kit had the bakelite valve and 3 different brackets to cover the broad applications..so while a vendor might act like he's doing you a favor supplying a peticular bracket they're actually keeping the other two from the kit... ...The pic in your {mopars by crane}link is the correct valve but the supplied bracket with it is the C body piece...This would be the correct 70-71 piece.. water valve bracket Like I said take your time and watch for them on the bag...If you pay more than 150 you're in too much of a hurry.. Valves like THIS are on there every week...Use keywords "mopar water valve", Mopar heater valve, AC valve, and the usual 70 challenger, cuda, etc...

Damn I ordered the wrong one. I thought the one year one listed was correct. Oh well I guess it will have to work for now. Can you rebuild the factory ones? Mine just started leaking all of the sudden from the bottom. Thanks for your help

on these NOS bakelite plastic pieces that are almost 40 years old now, would they hold up long to the use in a car that is driven.

Hi Tav, Would I buy an NOS dated 100 % correct 70 unit and use it for a driver car ???? NOPE !!! ...Believe it or not that valve was used into the mid-late 70s on trucks also{and who knows when mopar stopped making replacements} so I'm betting the majority of the replacement units are'nt as old as you think...FWIW I've had mine on there over 5 years now with no issues..
