1968 / 69 Bucket Seat Back Clips - 03/22/10 05:11 PM

For the 68/69 a-body and b-body bucket seats that have the flat seat backs.... Does anyone reproduce the clips that hold the backs to the seats?

Thanks,

Do the bucket backs have the metal piece at the bottom? I thought that was bench seat backs only? My bucket backs were completely missing so I am clueless, sounds like a gotta get two more pieces..?

Yes, the bottom edge of the trim panel is a metal "L" that holds the curvature & provides two screw holes on the bottom edge to secure the seat back..

FYI... found these seat backs on ebay today, and they are made from plastic. Have the clips, but nothing for the bottom?

GREAT Find that didn't turn up in my EBay search for
Roadrunner parts. I messaged him to confirm it works
for 69 RR buckets. I assume it doesn't need the lower L clips since the curve is molded into the plastic. I'll post his reply here THANKS.

Yup looks like the curved metal piece is not needed...
