E body ragtop experts,help me identify this part !

E body ragtop experts,help me identify this part ! - 07/31/08 03:21 AM

I have this aluminum piece of trim from a cuda or challenger convertible but I dont know exactly what it is for or where it goes.I believe it fastens the rear portion of the convert top to the body of the car,any help much appreciated !!!

goes across the top of the rear seat. The channel in it holds the boot front edge.
