'68 Satellite transmission fluid - 03/10/10 12:42 PM
I have a '68 satellite & need to add transmission fluid. I have Dextron III on hand, but I'm sure that was not available when the car was made. Is it OK to use? If not, what is recommended?
I'm not a mechanic!
Thanks,
Jack

Dexron III is fine. Go ahead and use it.

Someone mentioned 3M adhesive remover. Although it worked well for what I needed (removal of excess weatherstrip glue), I think it's only a small step up from Goo Gone.
