Where to get a replacement 95 LeBaron window regulator - 07/03/07 03:34 PM

Rear pass. window on the 95 LeBaron conv. decided to go on strike this week...

Worm gear looks like a beaver's been snackin' & motor shaft is pretty corroded. I've found a couple places that look like they can repair or replace the regulator but I wanted to find out if anyone has dealt with them and if they do good work. Or maybe you can point me to an even better alternative.

Window Motor World, Inc in North Carolina ($125 + $10 S&H + $50 core)

Don't know about any of these guys. I got my minivan motor and regulator from rockauto.com . Might wanna search there? Remember moparts has a discount code that you can use there.

Okay, I finally got an order into WMW and here's a picture of the motor they sent on the regulator. The wires are 16 or 18 gauge...

Now the original. I called the guy and he tells me I need to cut my wiring and connect the replacement. I was expecting to be able to connect the replacement using the original harness (which looks like 14 gauge wire).

Guy claimed he sells hundreds to pro installers (they all cut & modify the wiring) and nobody ever complained...

If you bought a replacement advertised for a Chrysler LeBaron rear pass. window regulator, am I being unreasonable to expect it have the correct connector? I need a sanity check...

I have four spares for our three LeBarons. They came from parts cars. I have also bought from the local self serve wrecking yards with good results.

The reason the motor corrodes is that it has been sitting in water because the rocker drains are plugged.
