VIN Number Question

i have a '65 plymouth belvedere - should the vin number from the drivers door jam match the numbers on the radiator core support and the one on the package tray? mine don't - the core support and the package tray match each other but not the number on the plate in the doorway. also the plate in the doorway is spot welded to the car but also has two holes as if it should be screwed or riveted, but it is not.

It should not match the body numbers which should match the fender tag and it is supposed to be welded on. You need a build sheet to match the body #s to the VIN.
