Flywheel ID?

I've got a flywheel here that I'm looking to sell and I just can't remember what it's for. I'm hoping someone can help me identify it.
It has a 6 bolt flange and 143 teeth. The OD of the ring gear is about 14-9/16" and the OD of the flywheel itself is about 13-3/4". On the back the raised area is about 12" OD and it's got three big drilled "holes".
I am assuming that it's an external balance flywheel because of the "holes".
It's only got six holes in it for mounting the clutch.

Can anyone tell me what this fits and what clutch it would use?

Sounds like a 360 truck flywheel that uses an 11" clutch

That's a 143 tooth flywheel for 11" and 12" clutches. The depth and diameter of the three drilled holes will determine what engine it is for.

It's not very likely it's a flywheel for an externally balanced big block. 99% chance it is for a 360.

But which 360? The LA and the Magnum both have three shallow drilled holes.

Here is a nice comparison pic of a Magnum 360 flywheel(L) and LA 360 flywheel(R) that someone posted here a while back. The LA balancing holes are larger diameter and a bit deeper. Sorry that I didn't save the poster's name with the pic.

The holes are about 1-1/4" across, and about 1/4" deep on the straight sides, if you don't count the "cone" from the tip of the dril bit.

It does look like the picture of the LA 360 shown in the post above. (just cleaner )

does it have "notches on the back side that a crank sensor would be able to read off of?

Nope, no notches. I know this is an old part, not off something more modern.

The size and the depth of the three holes determine if it's for a 360LA or a 360 Magnum. The 360LA holes are 1 13/64" in diameter, the Magnums are smaller.

So far it seems like it is an 360LA flywheel.
Now, how do I determine what the clutch size is? The spacing between the clutch mounting holes is 12-1/4". Could this be for a 12" clutch?

It can use an 11" or 12" clutch (they both use the same bolt pattern just like the 10.5 and 10.95 on 130 tooth flywheels).

So, just to make sure I've got this right, it will fit BOTH 11" and 12" clutches, right? It's not a case of either one could be bolted up, but one might not work right?
Just want to make sure.

My 72 W200 360 came with an 11" and now has a 12" Center Force so the answer is yes. Same with my 78 D300, put in a 12". Both have the same wheels as yours.

count the number of teeth 143 for truck 11"/12", 130 for car 10.5" (you could use the 10.95 scalloped PP/clutch)
