valve spring retainers

Will stock 360 valve spring retainers work with the 901 comp springs.When I replaced my stock 318 springs for the 901 I had to get new retainers.The 318 retainers were to small.So in short are the 318 different than a 340-360.

I've never compared 318 and 360 retainers side by side but I always thought they were identical ex for maybe the rotators on the 360 ex side.

Make dang sure that you don't have rotators on the exhaust valves. If you do get some regular retainers and replace them. Lots of times retainers will not go clear to the edge of the spring (eve some stock replacement springs. I worry more about the inner step fitting the inside of the spring.
