Interior Door paint flat or glossy?? - 07/27/08 04:35 PM
I'm asking about the metal portions of my doors, above and below the door panel. Should this be dull or flat like the dash, or glossy? My stuff is too old to tell how it's suppose to be. Thanks. It's a 70' Swinger, B5 panel, B7 metal.

I believe glossy...if the code is tx9 which is for black....the 5x8 cars got a flatter black

I painted mine a dull gloss, if that makes sense, and it don't look right. Shoulda been glossy

Stock ones on my dad's old 71 scamp were glossy. Now not super glossy like modern paints are though. By today's standards it would probably be counted as a semi-gloss.
