C Body brake swap questions... - 02/17/10 06:01 AM

Will the front disc brakes from a 71 Chrysler 300 interchange with a 68 300? A friend has a 4 wheel drum 68. I parted out a 71 last summer and saved the upper control arms, knuckles, rotors, calipers and lower control arms. I also saved the power booster, MC and prop valve...

They should work fine, I replaced the 4 piston Caliper disk's on my 67 Sport Fury with a single pistion set off a 72 New port. Their on but thats as far as I;ve got as I need to put the motor back in sometime this winter. Your buddy should have no problem.

I agree. 65-73 all are compatible.
Should only need the spindles and calipers. upper and lower control arms are the same.
Ball joints should be the same as well.

My 66 300 had 70 C body spindles, rotors, calipers and caliper brackets.
