Motor dated 10-17-79 and casting number is 4006830 (the 3 could be an 8). can anyone make sense of these numbers. i looking to buy a 360 block and these are the numbers that are in the ad. anything special about it?

nothing special. regular 70's 360 block. I'd sonic check it if it's going to be a perf build otherwise if the bore is what you want & the price is right grab it
