if the front pan rubber is good leave it,it will make the t-cover go back on easy
if you swap it,use the 2 pan bolts to pull the t-cover down some to line up the other bolts
like said, leave the pan gasket or cut/splice and dab the rtv in the cut/coners and let cure over night
not hard at all, just take you time
once you get the cover off.stuff a rag in the end of the pan to keep stuff from falling in,,,like the woodruff key on the cam when you remove the top gear..DAMHIK
drain the water down out of the rad,you will loose whats in the 2 sides of the block when the lower t-cover bolts are removed
either drain it first or drain oil and then the water
most times you will get a little water in the oil pan..no biggie but change the oil is good practice on a cam swap anyways
get a good oil and a break in additve for the new cam also
