Are B & E Body trans cross members the same?
I need one for my 70' Challenger for mock up purposes.
I do have one laying around from my 70' Charger since its Engine & trans is out too. I could use if it will work.
Does anyone no for sure?

I believe they are the same. The easy way to find out would be to take the 70 B and line it up. I know it will take 4 bolts for both and reasonably aure they are the same.

I think the e-bodies were the same as 71-72 b-bodies.70 Charger is different.

70-2 E & 71-2 B are the same.
70 B is one year only.

That is exactly what I thought. Damn, now I have to find another trans cross member just for mock up. Anyone have a spare laying around they can donate to the cause.
I am just using the factory engine/ trans mounts to get everything located to fab up my front/mid plates & then make a custom tubular trans cross member attaching to the frame connector & under floor pan 25.5 cage bars.
