I've been wondering the same thing for awhile now. With all the possible stripes that were offered, why don't we see more of them? I scrapped out a '70 6-pack Challenger years ago, (hit in rear by plow truck) that was coded for alpine white with blue gut, black vinyl top and a blue tail stripe. I have yet to see any Challengers with a blue tail stripe.

i know what you mean. back in the early 1980's my father parted out a 1970 R/T SE 383 Challenger that was alpine white with a white longatude stripe, black gator grain top and tan leather interior along with a column shift and bucket seats.
i have yet to run across a car done up like that and of all things i never keept the fender tag or even took photos of the car.

There is a car coded for V9R stripes though Dodge documentation does not mention it. Could be a tag typo for V9E or V6R.
