Dome light

Why is my dome light bulb keep burning out?
I have replaced it 2 times in the last few months and it just went again?
Old bulbs or bad wire maybe?

check the ground.
also check to make sure it's OFF when it should be.

Probably just a coincidence but as said I'd just visually check the socket real quick and open both doors & a quick check there also on the grounding plungers & see if anything is loose that might be inadvertently grounding the circuit part time.
