reverse light location 3 speed

i have a 71 challenger convert with a 318 3 speed manuel ive seen 4 speeds on the dash to the right of the ash tray. is this allso correct for the 3 speeds

I don't think the 3 speed cars got the dash indicator light.

i think your correct on this . as there was no hole on the dash for it

my 70' challenger was a factory slant-6 3spd manual and has no shift light in it. Though I will be installing one later on.
