64 Dodge 330 Sedan - 12/25/09 07:44 PM

Hi can anyone tell me if any of the body side trim off a 64 440 sedan interchanges with the 330 model? I need two pieces for a 330 the passenger door & passenger rear qtr, but have the chance to purchase a set off a 440 model.

thanks Billy

The one's I've seen were diferent, but I can't say for sure. My 330 came witha 440 parts car, and none of the trim was the same.

FWIW I know there were differences in trim etc.. on Canadian and usa models, so I may be of no help here at all.

As I recall the 440 used an upper & lower molding, so that an accent color could be applied between them. The upper molding was wider than the 330's but followed the same path, with a narrower molding running below the wide one. At the front of the fender the narrower molding runs "inside" the outer/wider molding.
The big question then is would the narrower 440 molding work in the areas you need; it might on the doors, doubtful on the quarters, and not on the fenders. It might be flatter than the 330 molding as well.

I don't think any of the 440 trim pieces are innerchangeable with the 330 trim.

I think the small upper trim is the same. The 330 cars have the C shaped trim on the front fenders instead of the large pointed piece.

According to the parts book, the door moulding is the same as the other two door upper mouldings. Both 440 and Polara. Part number 2495-324.

The quarter panel mouldings are different.
