Mancini is good to deal with and their kit has Diamond pistons, thats what I would buy especially for the price.

Which block are you using, 400 or 440
Mancini's has a pretty good low cost one on their site for 440's

Mancini is currently running some sales on rod sets and some of their stroker cranks. You could probably put something together cheaper that way instead of buying a stroker kit.
For a 400 block
B engine Eagle 4340 4.15 stroke crank - $500
Eagle H beam 6.76 rods $420
Diamond forged pistons $635
Ring and bearing kit $260
That will get you 500 ci for quite a bit cheaper than their $2300 non balanced stroker kit.

Define "best" stroker kit. "Best" doesn't necessarily mean the cheapest kit or the hottest looking deal. What are your hp or 1/4 mile goals?

Back to the thread, All I have to say about stroker kits, is no matter who's you buy, have a good machinist go through it, and make sure it's good.
Expensive Premium American made, or el cheapo chinese, they all seem to let a few crap ones slip through. And you don't know it, till there;s a window in your block

If Dave571 is right, and I see his point regarding quality issues with any product, I'd go with least costly route and be sure and follow up with a thorough inspection of all parts by your local machine shop. I went with 440source internals 4 years ago, followed by a complete inspection and balancing from Larry's Machine Shop in Groton, Ct.(Moparts sponsor and member, Great people to deal with) and have had zero issues to date.

He didn't ask which was the cheapest , but I have to agree , when people ask this question they mean which is the cheapest and the cheapest isn't usually a word I would CONFUSE with BEST ...

I'm not really sure what you mean by that. If we were "cheap" we'd be driving cars with small block chevys. There ain't much that's cheap when it comes to Mopars.
