440 Pushrods with oil hole

440 Pushrods with oil hole - 11/28/09 03:20 AM

I bought a set of Comp pushrods (ball/cup) to cut to length. They have a oil hole through both ends -- the original ones do not. I am running roller lifters and adjustable rockers
Will this cause problems?

i wouldn't think so they probablby just make them to work with or without push rod oiling.

Thanks for the reply.
Have not found any pushrods with oil hole in my 'chrysler' past.
I was worried / thinking they would 'drain' needed oil from the rocker (?) when engine is shut down.

My buddy had issues w/that. I would have Smith Bros. or Manton make you the right ones in the correct length.

I have been running pushrods with holes in them for 9 years on the street, no problems at all.
