Anyone know production numbers for each of these options for 69 GTX's?

- A/C

- P/W

- 8 track

- Disc Brakes

- Stripe Delete

- Redline Tires

Think about it do you really think they kept those kinds of records back then(this was precomputer)? Model & eng/trans is about the best anyone can do. Anything else is a guess. There have been some lists that will say 67% of Chargers were black. But no way to know how many R/T's were black. 73% of R/T's could have been black or 40% of R/TS/E's could have been black. There were just to many choices back then to keep records (my hand)like that.

exact , absolutely not , there MIGHT be percentages of cars built with each particular option . Anything you come up with is a guess at best .

wait , redline tires ... ALL of them ...

It appears the "Options and Accessories Report" has some sort of breakdown. The Super Track Pak thread refers to it, hence my inquiry as I didn't want to send the other tread off "track":

Yes it does but I am pretty sure the numbers are factored from a PERCENTAGE , plus they do not take into account , I'm 99% on this , Canadian OR Exports, so you will NEVER get an EXACT number, if that's what you are after .

Sounds like you are looking for a 1 of XX number to justify something to me ...

If a car was equiped with those options I would say it would be pretty rare. I think chrysler had a big fire at a warehouse where a great deal of paper work was lost, so those exact numbers are not obtainable. Contact GTS (galens tag service) he should be able to tell you how many cars he has a record of and how many have those options.

I have owned my 69 GTX convertible with A32 for 10 years and have always wondered how many were produced. It is R6 with black top/interior, console and air grabber.
