Why cant I find the correct fuel pump?

Looking for a fuel pump for my 1970 440 Cuda, mopar part #2932799 If you order from napa it looks correct but the female thread on the pump is not large enough to fit my OEM 5/16" fuel line.
If you go on ebay there all advertising this pump to fit your car AND fuel lines...no way.
I already have returned the Napa pump and then returned the Ebay pump(guy charged me shipping both ways and a 15% restock..were still battling over this) and I still have no pump and a lot of frustration. Please Help!
Am I missing something here?

I believe you have to screw the 5/16" flare adapter into that pipe thread on pump.

The 5/6" fuel Line has a 1/4" male MPT thread, The pump has a smaller female thread..approximately 1/8" FPT how do you fit these two together?

I drilled out & soldered in larger fittings into the 2 vertical "wells" in a stock pump to run 3/8 lines/fittings. Class rules require a stock "airtex" type SB pump EDIT regular lengths of parts store 3/8" inverted flare fuel line would not screw into the pump smaller female inverted flare fitting that was for 5/16" lines so I eventually decided to drill out the pump.
