71 E-Body seat belt retractors

Can you E-body guy's please answer a question for me? Does a 71 E-body use the same retractors as a 70, or do they use the retractors that go on the outside of the carpet. I've seen them both ways, but would like to know for sure. Many thanks, 69440

They are on the outside and not the same as 70.
