My uncle has a 97 dakota ,3.9 5 speed.160,000 mi ,and having trouble with it dies suddenly ,he has taken to dealer ship acouple of time ,have replaced crank sensor ,cam sensor,pickup sensor,altenator ,plugs ,wires,cap rotor and even 2 injectors,also had fuel pressure check and it was ok,problem usually occures io to 20 min. driving,suddendly dies ,will not retart,if you let it sit io min. it will always restart ,but prolbem continues ,any ideas?

Sounds like either a coil. check the windings. They are visibile by popping the hood. Coil is mounted on right side of engine up front towards accesory belt. If the windings are pushed apart,spread or corrided replace the coil.

If the coil is ok, its possible you have an 02 sensor going bad when switch from open to closed loop. It may be hard to catch but its a possibilty.
