02 Sensor location on turbo tube

Any guidelines on where I should or should not put my wideband o2 sensor before my turbo? I was planning on putting it right in the "Y" where the two banks come together. This would put it about 16" before the turbo. Sound okay??

It must go after the turbo,the backpresure between the engine and turbo will cause it to fail

Pre-turbo is much hotter than post. Basic thermodynamics, the turbine takes energy from the exhaust (heat, P-V work etc) and converts it to rotational work.
