E-body- 2spd wipers to 3 speed- conversion?

Can I just take the parts off the back of the 2 speed wiper motor, and put them on the 3 speed motor? If not - what parts am I looking for? Looks like it would all bolt right together?

need:

switch
main linkage ( not the pivots or side to side link )
motor crank
motor

NOTE...depending on year linkage changes the joint/bushing kind ( brass, teflon, retainers ), so thats the hardest part to match ( unless you find a complete matching linkage and pivot set )

B and E are the same...

70 b is not the same as any e.70-71 e is different than 72-74.If you use everything from the same year it will work

of course I'm talking between E bodies and 71/74 B bodies, 70s B didn't get concelead wipers

I think that the arm that goes from ther crank to the left wiper is also different on the 71 up b body the cowel is taller.I'd have to look at the set I have at home latter today

no, they are same length on everything.

a matching complete linkage set will fit on either one of them.

the only diff ( I think is a 70 E body deal ) is the driver side pivot, being a little bit larger plate than the rest making one of the screws won't match on an B body, but not sure if is really a 70 deal or all E bodies though.

The cross link between the piviots is different between the b and e

mmm, well maybe... I found Diff PNs on them on my 74 catalog, but dunno really if because the diff bushing kind attaching or whatever reason.

I'm pretty sure a buddy with a 70 Chally got its wiper assembly from a 73 Charger I parted out, but dunno if he used only the motor or AAAALL the assembly.

Per the 70-71 parts book the only parts that are the same on the 71 b body asthe 71 ebody are the motor,crank and clips(indicating they use the same bushings)The 71-74 cowel is taller than the e body
