I think there is 2 years of stock speedo cables that will work as is. iirc 65/66 A body. I used one in my 65 Dart w a 70's 904 & I only had to change the trans speedo adapter to the metal one w the threads that the cable screws onto at the trans.

I've been waiting mor than 2 months for Imperial Services to get my cable. Supposedly waiting on a longer nut?

See if you can get one somewhere else.

This is the place that made mine. I don't think they speak mopar. You'll have to be able to describe what type of end etc..

It was reasonably priced IIRC

If the thread on the speedo is the same as a 66 then go to the Local parts house & get a Pioneer # 3004 replacement.

We just used this in a 65 Valiant with a later 904. Fit is for a 66-67car. Shouldn't be more than 15.00.

The '66-'67 cable has the correct threaded ends for the early speedo and the later trans.

It will even fit 50's speedometers; 66-7 cable is what I used in my 59 Dodge when it had a 68 trans in it.

Thanks guys!

I needed one too and was pondering where to get it.

I went to O'Reilly's this morning and they had it IN STOCK for $12.49! Can't beat that! Cheap, 2 miles from the house and in stock to boot!

Man I love this place!

Oh yeah, part number was PIO CA3004.

The pioneer cable is about 8" longer than a stock 66-67 speedo cable.. Just measured one at the local parts house..
