How to tell the difference in A-body K-frames? - 07/11/08 02:42 PM
I have two A-body K-frames that I think are V-8 frames but I'm not positive. One is the 67-72 biscuit mount type and the other is a 73-up spool mount type. How do you tell the difference between V-8 and slant six K-frames for both applications?

Go to
www.engine-swaps.com and chose the "K-member Identification Guide". You'll have your answer.

73+
Look at the drivers side mount area and compare the height to the pass side. If it's taller, /6. Same height, v8.

Here you go. Because of the screen in the image you'll need to download and view the picture on your computer. The picture will then appear very clear.
