Painted my entire grill (w/headlight bezels) on my '70 GTX with the spray agent from Totally Auto. After that I cleared it with a satin clear from a spray can. It cam out looking AWESOME. I have some close pics I can post later if you would like to see them.

Used Dupli Color trim paint on mine..
