Is it the 70-71 B bodies that have the same frame rails as a 74 Cuda left front frame rail?
Thanks!!

Dimensionally they are the same but they have different part numbers so there is a difference.
I know the 70/71 cars had two bolts for the bumper mounts and the 73/74 had 3.

I know there is a difference in the shock mount area but I'm not sure which are the same.....

71-72 B-body front frame rails and inner fenders are the same as 70-74 e-body (actually 70 e-body inner fenders are one year only, but the differences between 70 and 71-74 e-body inner fenders is minimal). 66-70 B-body framerails are 66-70 b-body only.

Seems to me that the 71/72 B-body cars would have more similar frame rails to the E-bodies than the 70/71 cars. IIRC, someone here was discussing the the similarity/interchangeability of other parts between the 71/72 B-bodies and the E-bodies; stuff like firewall (but not the cowl, I believe), inner fenders, and radiator yoke/crossmember. I thought that the engine bay was dimensionally the same between those two classes of cars.
But, of course, I could be out in left field...

AS mentioned above 70-72 E and 71-72 B front frame rails interchange.Shock towers are the same.Only piece different is the front rail to rocker gusset. And again as mentioned above 73-74 E rails are different 3 holes for bumper brackets.
On early B's (66-70)rear rails are specific to Dodge or Plymouth. The rear shackle pivot point is moved forward one inch on the Plymouths.Don't use Plymouth rails in Dodges and vice versa.
